According to Dr Mohamed Nasr El Din Allam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation the reason for dispensing with Dr. Muhammad Abdul Muttalib due to not being able to solve the crisis of the Ethiopian Dam, and accused him of not choosing representatives from Egypt to negotiate in Egypt from professors and qualified experts who have of experience and competence that qualifies them to bear this responsibility seriously.
